What are the Forms of the Measuring Probe Quill

1. Fixed and manually rotation quill

For small or Manual Cmm, because there are no special cable and circuit requirements, it is suitable for manual rotation. These small probe systems allow the operator to easily reposition the probe while measuring the element. The operator only needs to conduct positioning calibration during data measurement, which greatly shortens the test cycle. Repeatability of most manually rotated probe positions can reach 0.15 microns.

2. Fixed measuring probe quill, universal detection system for different applications

The universal inspection system equipped with CNC measuring machines is close to becoming the standard configuration, because it has superior performance and versatility, and is the lowest cost solution for the measurement of complex parts, especially the measurement of parts that need to be touched from different directions. In order to measure complex components that require multiple contacts, the fixed probe cannot be rotated. Due to the small space of the measuring machine, the fixed quill cannot be rotated, so the measurement of complex parts requires many measuring needles. But the measuring machine occupies a small space, there is no rotation error.

3. Continuously rotation probe quill

The CMM can maintain an extended accuracy of 600 mm long extension. Since it can be rotated continuously, deep holes can be detected in any direction and can be connected with a trigger probe.
