Measuring Method of Coordinate Measuring Machine
There are three kinds of measurement methods in general point measurement: direct measurement, program measurement and self-learning measurement.
A. Direct measurement methods
Direct measurement is manual measurement, the use of the keyboard by the operator will determine the order of the punch instructions, the system step by step implementation of the mode of operation. When measuring, the corresponding measuring instruction is called according to the shape of the measured part, and the system automatically picks points according to the given number. The Measuring Machine sends the coordinate value of the measuring point to the computer for processing through the interface, and displays or prints the result.
B. Program measurement method
Program measurement is to measure all the operations required by a part, according to its execution sequence programming, in the form of files stored in disk, running the program during measurement, control the measuring machine automatic measurement method. Suitable for repeated measurement of batch parts.
The structure of the parts measurement program generally includes the following:
(1) Program initialization, such as specifying the file name, memory zeroing, and giving relevant selection instructions for certain conditions different from the default conditions.
(2) Probe management and parts management such as probe definition or recalibration, temporary zero definition, mathematical alignment, establishment of permanent origin, etc.
(3) The cycle of measurement includes:
1) Positioning - so that the probe enters the anchor point before entering the next sampling point (so that the probe can avoid collision with the workpiece when approaching the sampling point).
2) Sampling processing - including preparatory instructions and operational instructions, such as the instruction of sampling number, theoretical coordinates and diameter of the hole center before the instruction of measuring the hole.
3) Processing of measured values.
(4) Close the file - that is, end the entire measurement process.

C. Self-learning measurement methods
The self-learning measurement method is that in the normal measurement cycle when the operator performs direct measurement on the first part, the system automatically generates the corresponding part measurement program with the help of appropriate cOmmands, and the rest parts are repeatedly adjusted and reused when measuring. Compared with manual programming, this method saves time and is not easy to make mistakes. However, the operator is required to master the direct measurement skills, and the purpose of paying attention to the operation is to obtain the parts measurement program and pay attention to the correctness of the operation.
In the process of self-learning measurement, the system can self-learn in two ways: for the instructions that the system does not need to perform any calculation, such as the definition of probe and the selection of reference coordinate system, the system adopts the direct recording method. The relevant instructions for measurement and calculation of the permitted recording method are recorded only when confirmed by the operator, such as probe correction, parts correction and other instructions. When the measurement cycle is completed or the operation error is found in the process of the program, the generation of the part program can be interrupted, enter the editing state to modify, and then start from the breakpoint.
