What is the Preparation Before Install CMM

After the measuring machine is delivered to the user, check it carefully and make necessary preparations for installation, such as the installation site, transportation channel, and transportation means.

1. Handling

CMM is usually a large, heavy equipment that requires the use of professional handling equipment and teams for transportation and handling to ensure safe arrival at the installation location.

2. Package check

Check and count the packing cases, serial numbers and appearance. When there is a shortage or something is damaged, please contact the relevant delivery department in time to clarify the truth and contact us.

3. Remove the packing case

The packing case should be opened by our technicians and the user. The parts in the case should be protected from damage. After unpacking, check the type, quantity, and isolation package according to the packing list.

4. Determine the installation position

Choose a flat, stable surface for the installation of the CMM to ensure that the location can accommodate the size and weight of the CMM and is easy to operate and maintain.

5. Clean the accessories

In order to protect the CMM and parts from damage or rust during transportation, the CMM parts are individually packaged before leaving the factory. Be sure to clean up before installation.

6. Power and air pump

Ac 220V regulated power supply is required. Users should prepare their own special ground cable. The flow and pressure of the air pump shall comply with the regulations. Air must be filtered before input to the CMM. The compressed air delivered to the CMM must be dry, and the air temperature must be close to the measuring room temperature to ensure that the gas bearings, cylinders and other components work normally, so as to ensure the accuracy and stability of the CMM.
